Our salon has
enjoyed success in both Metairie and the New Orleans Metro Area for almost
forty years. We can please the client seeking an
updated classic look as well as a trendy style. We
offer a full service experience where the focus is on the needs and
experiences of the client. Our clientele includes men
and women of all ages.
The salon offers a
full line of hair services, manicures, pedicures, makeup, skin
care and waxing services. We specialize in hair color
and special occasion packages including weddings and bridal, prom, and
Mardi Gras balls. We were one of the first salons in the
area to offer the Japanese thermal straightening service and keratin hair smoothing treatment.
We now offer Hairdreams hair extensions, Featherlocks feather extensions, as well as a wide array of retail products to compliment our
services.
Kenneth's Studio
for Hair is committed to continuing education and
professionalism. We offer ongoing in-salon training in
color, cutting, special occasion styling as well as in
communication. Our staff enjoys opportunities to
participate in national training classes and events as well.
Our salon is a
member of Intercoiffure, one of the most prestigious
organizations in the industry, as well as the American Board
of Certified Hair Colorists, The International Haircolor
Exchange, The Salon Association, and the New Orleans
Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Our original
Metairie location opened forty years ago. Our Lakeview
location, which opened in 1989, was lost due to the 17th
Street Canal breach during Katrina. We proudly opened
the St. Charles location in April 2007 and are excited to be
rebuilding New Orleans.
